Inspired by the globally-renowned big wave surfing Shipstern Bluff on the southeastern coast of Tasmania, Australia. Due to the unique shape of the reef bottom, a step effect in waves is created when the swells are large. This effect makes "Shippies" especially challenging and dangerous to ride.
